NEW WAYS TO VOLUNTEER WITH PRIDE WEEK IN PEEL!

In previous years, Pride Week in Peel volunteer opportunities have included support with outreach Festival shifts and organizing Peel Trans* Pride. Pride Week in Peel organizers have heard feedback from community that you would love to play a more central role in planning the Festival and the Week. As a response to your feedback, and to support the continued growth of Pride Week in Peel, in 2015 you’ll see the introduction of year round volunteer opportunities! This year there will be a variety of volunteer roles, ranging from year round to shifts at the Festival.

WHY VOLUNTEER?

  • Be part of celebrating Peel’s vibrant and diverse LGBTTIQQ2S* communities
  • Develop skills and gain work experience
  • Receive a record of volunteers hours
  • Learn about Peel’s queer and trans communities
  • Meet other queer and trans people and allies in Peel
  • Give back to community
  • Help make Pride Week in Peel a success!
